iPhone 2.0 - Using with Exchange ActiveSync
» Prerequisites
iTunes 7.7 or later installed on your computer
iPhone 3G or iPhone with 2.0 update software installed
- Note: iPhone 2.0 software update process takes approximately 45 minutes
- The software update also renders shortcuts on the home screen non-functional
iPhone contact and calendar information synced to Outlook/Exchange to prevent data loss
- Contacts and Calendars on the iPhone will be erased when first synced to Exchange, so all contact and calendar information should be synchronized before proceeding

Sync your iPhone in iTunes |

Ensure that Contacts and Calendar information are synchronized with Outlook to prevent any data loss upon synchronizing with Exchange ActiveSync. |

Disable your current USC email account from your phone |

Tap Settings
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Tap the name of your current email account (ttrojan@usc.edu, for example
Under Account, slide the indicator to the OFF position.
Tap the Mail... button to return to the previous screen to ensure the account is now Inactive.
Press the Home button. |

Enter your Exchange account information |

- Choose your desired setting:
- No limit
- 1 Day
- 3 Days
- 1 Week
- 2 Weeks
- 1 Month
