Student interviews (the Listening to Students project)

  • In 2006 and 2007, staff members from the Division of Student Affairs volunteered their time to meet with randomly selected undergraduate students. This was called the Listening to Students program.
  • They engaged in conversations about the students' USC experiences, their likes and dislikes, their engagement and interest levels in and out of the classroom, and other topics
  • Over three semesters (spring 2006, fall 2006, and spring 2007), 170 interviews were conducted; the interviews lasted 45 to 60 minutes.
