2011 SERU Survey
USC this past spring USC administered the Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) survey to all degree-seeking undergraduates over the age of 18. USC has become the 18th research university – and first private university to participate in the SERU survey. The 18 universities have formed a consortium organized through Berkeley's Center for Studies in Higher Education to share data about the undergraduate experience. Student feedback helps participating universities gain a better understanding of how to better serve their students and improve undergraduate education.
The survey closed on June 11th. The response from the USC student body was tremendous - 50% of all undergraduates answered at least one question:
