The Office for Residential Education fosters the holistic development of members within the USC residential community. We are committed to providing purposefully inclusive communities that create opportunities for personal and academic success in collaboration with members of the Trojan Family.
Our residential communities cultivate and enrich students by integrating learning, engagement and development. We contribute to students’ academic success by offering student-centered programs, services and environments that foster student involvement, responsibility and leadership.
Under the leadership of the Associate Dean and Executive Director for Residential Education, the Office for Residential Education includes seven full-time, professional Assistant Directors (ADs), 17 Residence Coordinators and 22 additional graduate level staff and approximately 160 graduate and undergraduate Resident Advisors (RAs). Twenty-two (22) of USC's most prestigious faculty members and their families also live and work within the residential colleges, and over 100 faculty and student affairs professionals interact with residents as Faculty/Staff Mentors (FSMs).
