One of the newest traditions at USC, the Spirit Leaders are an integral part of school spirit at all Trojan athletic events. The Spirit Leaders are a co-ed squad responsible for leading stadium wide chants and increasing crowd participation at Trojan football, basketball, volleyball, water polo, soccer, and baseball games. The Spirit Leaders have been part of both a Rose Bowl victory and a trip to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in basketball. In addition to promoting USC Spirit at all Trojan athletic events, the Spirit Leaders have been featured on ESPN College Gameday and the Jeopardy! College Championships.

The Spirit Leaders have also provided Trojan spirit at the Rose Parade, Disneyland, Dave and Busters, Universal Studios, all On-Campus Rallies, and Swim with Mike. In fact, at the Swim with Mike event, the Spirit Leaders swam nearly 2,000 laps to raise money for physically challenged athletes. Spirit Leaders are also sent to every away football game in order to maintain a Trojan atmosphere while playing in hostile environments.

The Spirit Leaders have quickly established themselves as a mainstay in the Trojan Family. In the upcoming season, the Spirit Leaders hope to continue to develop new traditions while honoring the proud, long-standing traditions of the University. The Spirit Leaders hope to continue working with the Trojan Marching Band and the Song Girls to create a winning atmosphere for all Trojan athletes.

Please support the Spirit Leaders in the upcoming seasons as they make the Coliseum the loudest venue in college football. Fight On!
