There are many methods to achieve your fitness goal(s). We encourage everyone to follow the following approach towards a successful fitness program and to utilize some of the online reference listed below. A personal trainer or taking a class are probably some of the best ways to approach your specific needs – it’s a great way to start.

If you have a specific question – Ask the Trainer.

  1. Have a Goal - Be sure your goal(s) are reasonable and reachable!
  2. Develop a Plan - Bike? Swim? Walk? Just be sure you make a plan that will fit your lifestyle.
  3. Create a Support Group - Friends and Family can always help you keep honest.
  4. Give small rewards - New Pair of socks! A night out! A cookie! More strength!
  5. Don't give up! Keep trying!

Health/Wellness Information

In collaboration with many departments including the USC Student Health Center, Physical Education, Trojan Hospitality, and others, USC Rec Sports attempts to provide resources and information regarding health and wellness for the entire USC Community.
