Hula Hoop: Everyone can hula hoop! Just give it a try. Learn to move the hoop from head to toe. Space is limited. Fun is unlimited.

Kickboxing: Punch. Kick. Jab. A great workout that combines boxing moves, martial arts kicks, and a cardio workout that will “sock it to you.”

Mat Pilates: Pronounced “puh-lah-teez” gives you a non-impact yet highly intense workout. Principles include core or center-based exercises for stabilization, strength, balance, and overall physical conditioning.

Muscle Conditioning: Strength training class that tones all major muscle groups using hand weights, body bars, resistance tubing, and floor work.

SCycling: USC’s version of spinning or power pacing. An instructor directed indoor stationary cycling class utilizing cycling techniques, music, and visualization to create a non-impact workout. Each participant must sign-up at the front desk to reserve a bike.

Step: A non-impact aerobic class utilizing steps (platforms) that develops strength and endur- ance. Modifications and variations offered for various cardiovascular levels.

Yoga: Based on the ancient form(s) of yoga that focus on movement, balance, stretching, strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Style varies with instructor. Yoga mats available for check-out ($1) at the equipment desk.
