For court reservations (racquetball, squash, and tennis) call 213-740-8977 or sign-up at the Lyon Center equipment desk. Court reservations may be made up to two days in advance. For reservations of recreation facilities (pools, gyms, and fields) must be made at least two weeks in advance of the event date, contact our Facility Coordinator at 213-740-5127 or come to the Lyon Center and fill out a Facility Reservation Request Form (262kb) or submit the form online.

Student Organizations

"Recognized" student organizations can make one reservation, at least 2 weeks in advance, per semester depending on availability. There is no charge for the facility reservation (staffing fee and equipment rental fee would still apply). Groups requesting more than one reservation per semester will be assessed a rental rate ($25.00 per hour for the facility) in addition to the staffing fee.

Off-Campus Groups

Groups need to submit a proposal with all details about the event (i.e. date, time, location, etc.) at least three weeks in advance. There is a rental and staffing fee for each reservation.

Film and Photo Shoot Groups

Groups must get approval from the Public Relations Department and Recreational Sports in order to utilize any facility on the UPC or HSC campus. There is a rental and staffing fee for each reservation.
