Youth Sports

USC Recreational Sports is proud to be affiliated with several community outreach programs, all of which provide sports and educational opportunities for the youngsters the communities surrounding both the University Park Campus and Health Science Campus.

Program Overview:

  • USC NYSP Trojan KidSCamp
    This summer sports program (formerly federally funded) provides instructional sports opportunities for youngsters between the ages of 9-15yr. the NYSP Trojan KidSCamp is open to boys and girls from the surrounding communitiy.

    Hours of operation for NYSP are 8:15am-4:00pm. There is a fee. Please check the application.


  • After School Sports Connection (ASSC)
    ASSC is a part of the overall USC Family of Five Schools (USC-FFS) community outreach effort. ASSC offers after-school sports instruction to students in third through fifth grades (8-11 years of age) at the following FFS schools: Norwood Street Elementary, 32nd Street, L.B. Weemes Elementary, Foshay Learning Center and Vermont Avenue, plus the two Catholic schools, St. Agnes and St. Vincent. ASSC also offers summer swim lessons through a partnership with Kids in Sports of Los Angeles.
