Youth Sports

USC Recreational Sports is proud to be affiliated with several community outreach programs, all of which provide sports and educational opportunities for the youngsters the communities surrounding both the University Park Campus and Health Science Campus.

 USC Trojan Kids Camp 2015

The University of Southern California is proud to announce the return of USC Trojan Kids Camp for its 50th year of service to the Los Angeles Community. The USC Trojan Kids Camp Program is designed for economically disadvantaged youth living around the USC campus. The program provides an opportunity to promote a healthy and active lifestyle to youth 9-15 years of age.
Each camper will be provided a FREE snack and lunch each day and will be given one FREE camp T-shirtWe will enroll up to 225 participants. For more information, and to download registration materials, please view the links below.
The 2015 fee will be $350 with the possiblity for a $50 voucher. All vouchers will be verified with the schools. Please view the voucher information sheet for more details.

Kids Camp Timeline
March 30: Applications Available for campers and staff
April 27:  Camper applications accepted (no applications will be accepted without the non-refundable $25 fee)
May 29: Voucher verification process begins. All vouchers must be originals.
June 29: First day of camp; 8:30am – 4:00pm
July 3: No camp, closed for University Holiday
July 17: Last day of camp

 After School Sports Connection (ASSC)

ASSC is a part of the overall USC Family of Five Schools (USC-FFS) community outreach effort. ASSC offers after-school sports instruction to students in third through fifth grades (8-11 years of age) at the following FFS schools: Norwood Street Elementary, 32nd Street, L.B. Weemes Elementary, Foshay Learning Center and Vermont Avenue, plus the two Catholic schools, St. Agnes and St. Vincent. ASSC also offers summer swim lessons through a partnership with Kids in Sports of Los Angeles.
