How do I register for the weekend?
Starting Friday, August 29, you can register for Trojan Family Weekend on this website. Before you register, please read all of the instructions and information. We accept VISA and MasterCard.
Online registrants will receive email confirmation. If you need assistance with registration, please call 213-740-6775.
Why do I have to register for Trojan Family Weekend? Can't I just come to campus?
Although the USC campus is open to the public, only registered guests will be admitted to the programs during Trojan Family Weekend.
Do I have to register in advance? Can I sign up for the weekend once I arrive on campus?
In order to plan for the thousands of guests, we recommend that you register in advance. If space is available, on-site registration is offered at a significantly higher fee.
When does registration close? Is there a registration deadline?
The registration fee increases on October 28. Registration closes on Monday, November 10 at 5 pm PST. On-site registration (if available) is at a significantly higher fee. Some events may be at capacity.
Do I need to register my USC student for the weekend?
No, current USC students and 2015 Spring admit students are welcome to attend for no fee. If you would like your student to attend the Thursday Parent Reception, you must purchase a ticket for your student. Reception tickets are non-refundable, so please make sure your student is able to attend.
What is the Trojan Family Weekend registration fee?
Prior to October 28: $100 per adult, $75 per child (ages 10-17).
On October 28: $125 per adult, $100 per child (ages 10-17).
On-site registration if available: $150 per adult - $75 per grandparent - $125 per child (ages 10-17).
*** Football tickets and Trojan Family Weekend Parent reception tickets are not included in the registration.
What does the registration fee include?
The Trojan Family Weekend registration fee includes President Nikias' and Provost Garrett's Address to Parents, and receptions with the deans of various schools on Friday, November 14; most workshops, sessions, faculty lectures, open houses and tours. A small number of programs may require an additional fee and/or RSVP.
Why is there a registration fee? Doesn't tuition cover this event?
Trojan Family Weekend is a totally self-supporting event and does not receive any university funding. However, USC students may attend many events at no additional fee.
Who pays the registration fee?
Each person over the age of 10 (except your USC student) must register in order to participate in programs and/or sessions.
Can I sign up for individual events or one day only?
No, you must register for the entire weekend.
Do I have to RSVP for each individual session? I only see some sessions that require an RSVP.
Admittance at each venue is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a few events that require an additional fee or RSVP. These are indicated in the event listing. Please note, programming is subject to change.
How do I RSVP for events that require an RSVP?
Once you register for Trojan Family Weekend you will be able to RSVP for any events that states "RSVP required with your Trojan Family Weekend registration" There are a small number of events that require an additional fee or have an RSVP to another office. These events are listed in your Trojan Family Weekend confirmation email.
How will I know if I am registered for the weekend?
When your registration is complete, an email confirmation is sent to the email you provided on your registration form. If you do not receive a confirmation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the refund policy for Trojan Family Weekend?
FOOTBALL TICKETS AND TROJAN FAMILY WEEKEND PARENT RECEPTION TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. We understand that plans may change and there are certain circumstances that may prevent you from attending Trojan Family Weekend. With this in mind, please review the refund policy below:
Refund requests must be made by email to email@example.com.
All cancellation requests made prior to Friday, October 24, 2014 will be eligible to receive a refund, but will be subject to a cancellation fee of $25 per registration.
All cancellation requests made between October 25,2014 and November 3, 2014 will be eligible to receive a refund, but will be subject to a cancellation fee of $50 per registration.
There are no refunds after November 3, 2014.
Please double check with your USC student to make sure they do not have another obligation or reception to attend.
If my student is a Spring admit, can I attend Trojan Family Weekend?
Yes, you are welcome to register for Trojan Family Weekend. Please follow these guidelines which apply to all students.
1. You do not have to register your Spring admit USC student.
2. If you want your student to sit with you at the football game you will need to purchase a football ticket for him/her.
3. If you want your student to attend the Thursday reception, you will need to purchase a ticket for him/her.
Where can I stay during the weekend?
For a list of local hotels, click the Plan Your Visit icon at the top of this page. Then click Places to Stay. Local hotels tend to sell out quickly.
Can I rent a wheelchair or other medical equipment?
During Trojan Family Weekend there will be some walking to get from event to event. If you require assistance, wheelchairs can be rented from Pico Medical Rents, (323) 936-4104. Their website is www.picomedical.com. Wheelchair rental payment, pick up and return are the responsibility of the Trojan Family Weekend registrant.
Where do I pick up my registration packet? What are the hours of the Trojan Family Welcome Tent?
You can pick up your Trojan Family registration packet in the Trojan Family Welcome Tent located in Herklotz Plaza (Courtyard) across from Alumni Park.
The Trojan Family Welcome Tent hours are:
Thursday, November 13, 7am - 3pm and
Friday, November 14 7am - 3pm.
On Thursday, November 13 registration materials will be available in front of the Reception entrance three hours prior to kickoff.
Your student may pick up your packet as well. We do not keep packets after 6:00 pm on Thursday.
