Several groups including many greek chapters, have designated seating at the tailgate picnic. When making reservations for the tailgate picnic, reference your student’s group number listed below, if applicable. We recommend that you check with your student prior to purchasing tailgate picnic tickets as some groups may have other pre- and post-game activities planned. Football and tailgate picnic tickets are non-refundable.
What time is the tailgate picnic?
The tailgate picnic starts at 1:30 pm. Kickoff for the USC vs. Oregon State game is 5:00 pm.
What is the tailgate ticket price?
The price is $30 per adult, and $25 per child 8 years and under. Each person entering Alumni Park must have a tailgate picnic ticket. Ticket holders will receive a wristband as they enter the park.

Where are the seats for the football game?
The reserved parent seating is in the east end zone.
Will I be sitting with my “group” at the football game?
There is no group-specific seating for the football game. Everyone will be seated in the parent section in the end zone.
What is the menu for the picnic?
The menu selected is a BBQ buffet. This is a family friendly event and alcohol is not available.
Do I have to buy a football ticket for my student?
If you want your USC student to sit with you in the reserved parent section, you must purchase a football ticket for him/her. Students may enter the game and sit in the student section, if they have pre-purchased a student season ticket.
Can I send my student to buy my tickets?
If there are any football tickets remaining, they will be sold to non-registered families after September 30, 2009. Your student may purchase tickets at the USC Ticket Office in Student Union 100. The tickets will be sold at the regular ticket price of $50. All orders will have a processing fee of $18. The ticket office accepts cash, VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card. Checks are not accepted.
How many tickets can I buy?
If you register one person for the weekend, you may purchase two football tickets. If you register two people for the weekend, you may purchase four football tickets. If you register three people for the weekend, you may purchase six football tickets. There is a limit of six tickets per family.
Is there disabled seating in the Coliseum?
Yes, disabled seating is limited and issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to order early. When you place your ticket order, please check the “Disabled Seating” box.
Can I purchase tailgate or football tickets when I arrive on campus?
Both events are guaranteed to SELL OUT! Tickets will not be available for purchase on the day of the event.
What is a group number?
All student campus organizations were offered the option of reserving a section at the tailgate picnic. Be sure to note the group number on your tailgate picnic ticket order. Football seating is not assigned by group.
What if my student becomes a member of a group after I place my order?
Contact the USC Ticket Office and request that your tailgate picnic tickets be reassigned to the group your student has joined. You may email the ticket office at uscto@usc.edu or fax to (213) 740-4300. Be sure to have the group number ready. To ensure accuracy, please send this information directly to the USC Ticket Office and not to the Office for Parent Programs. You do not need to return your tailgate picnic tickets to update your group number. Do not worry if your confirmation letter does not reflect your group number.
When will I receive my tickets?
All tickets are mailed by the USC Ticket Office. If your ticket order is received prior to October 2, 2009, your tickets will be mailed to the address you provided on your Trojan Parents Weekend registration form or your tailgate picnic order form. If your order is received after October 2, 2009, your tickets will be held at the USC Ticket Office in Student Union 100. You or your student (with Photo ID) may pick up the tickets at the ticket window until three hours prior to the game. After this time your tickets will be at Will Call on the south side of the Coliseum, Gate 4.
