What to Bring
Please bring the following items with you to Orientation:
Undergraduate Summer and Mid-Year Sessions (Freshmen and Transfer)
- Orientation session confirmation letter (print this letter and bring it as proof of your reservation)
- Pre-Orientation Homework Summary Worksheet (complete after you finish your Orientation reservation)
- Letter of admission and all other pertinent correspondence from USC
- Financial documents as appropriate (including Financial Aid correspondence)
- Casual attire, jacket and comfortable shoes
- Driver's license or similar photo I.D.
- Social Security number
- Two No. 2 pencils and a ballpoint pen
- Prior college course work documentation
- Backpack or book bag
- Measles immunization verification (deliver to the Student Health Center)
- Overnight bag (overnight summer sessions)
- Alarm clock (overnight summer sessions)
- Portable fan (overnight summer sessions)
Undergraduate Summer & Mid-Year Sessions (If also International Student)
- Passport (you must complete Passport Verification to receive your USCard and register for classes)
- Form SEVIS I-20 (for F-1 students) or Form SEVIS DS-2019 (for J-1 students)
- I-94 card
- Local address and phone number
- Address and phone number of an emergency contact in the U.S.
- Address and phone number of an emergency contact in your home country
- All previous immigration documents if you are a transfer student from another U.S. educational institution
- Immigration documents of any dependents with you in the U.S.
Graduate Orientation Session
