During the undergraduate and Orientation sessions, all students receive academic advisement (usually done in groups) and register for first semester classes. Academic Advisors and Orientation Advisors assist students through the class registration process. This part of the session allows students to make decisions about their college careers and learn the processes they will follow throughout their USC experience. Parents and family members attend other sessions during this time.
