  • A chance to speak with representatives from USC Housing, USC Hospitality and USC Transportation
  • Group academic advisement and registration for classes
  • Become acquainted with the Los Angeles community and visit Los Angeles tourist sites
  • A campus tour hosted by a student Orientation Advisor

Services will be provided during your departmental Orientation.

Parents

We encourage parents and family members to attend Orientation. The program is designed to help parents and family members become familiar with the campus and its resources, policies and procedures, and the adjustments new students face during their college years. During Orientation, parents and family members have the opportunity to meet USC administrators, faculty, staff and current students, and to have their questions and concerns addressed in person. For most of the program, parents and family members attend different sessions from students because the sessions are designed to meet each group’s particular interests.
