Passport Verification (PPV)
All new students are required to complete Passport Verification (PPV) with the Office of International Services (OIS) within 15 days of arrival to the U.S. PPV is a procedure that verifies a student’s immigration status to ensure that the student is eligible to start an academic program at USC for the upcoming academic semester.

PPV sessions are available every week starting in mid July and will go throughout the week of International Student Orientation (ISO) which is scheduled on August 17-18 for undergraduate students and August 20-21 for graduate students. To complete PPV the student must attend a PPV session and bring the following documents so that they can be reviewed and placed on file at OIS.

You are required to bring photocopies of these documents to the PPV session session which will be retained by OIS. If you do not bring a photocopy, you will not be able to complete PPV on the scheduled date and must re-schedule for another date and time.

**Students are not eligible to receive their USCard until after they complete Passport Verification**
