OPT for Fall 2009 Graduates

OIS is continuing to accept OPT applications for Fall 2009 graduates.

It is imperative that students who are graduating in December and want to file for OPT do so quickly.  Please remember that it takes about 3 MONTHS for the U.S. Government to issue the Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card to you.

It is important to have the card in-hand before you leave the United States for travel and for re-entry after your graduation date and you must have the card to present to an employer to begin working legally in the United States after graduation.

 

Please review the OIS OPT Online Workshop and complete the required forms to submit during the hand-in sessions.  Please note that the hand-in sessions are not for informational purposes but to hand-in your completed application.
