Because we are located in a densely populated section of Los Angeles, USC is unable to provide on-campus housing for Exchange Visitors. However, the housing section on the OIS website includes information about temporary accommodations and other housing options in the neighborhoods surrounding USC and elsewhere in Los Angeles.
If you have a spouse and/or other dependents who are planning to come with you to USC, we suggest that housing arrangements be made before your arrival. If this cannot be done before you arrive, it is best that you come alone then have them join you once appropriate housing is located. While there is sufficient housing in the city of Los Angeles, comfortable and affordable family housing that is convenient to campus is limited.
