Once international students receive admission to USC, the Graduate and International Admissions (GIA) office contacts the students to begin the steps in processing the I-20 (F-1 students) or DS-2019 (J-1 students). All questions related to the I-20 issuance process must be directed to the GIA office. The best way to contact them is through email at usci20@usc.edu.
After the I-20/DS-2019 is issued by the GIA, the Office of International Services (OIS) and the Orientation Programs office will be the main sources for obtaining information on preparing for arrival at USC. OIS is available to provide immigration and visa information as well as other pertinent resources to support and guide international students in their endeavors at USC.
