Meet the Members

Steven Philp is a senior pursuing a triple degree in Fine Arts, English (Creative Writing), and International Relations. In addition to serving as the President of Men CARE, he is the Director of the USC Interfaith Council, a member of Canterbury USC, and an active brother of Beta Theta Pi. He also works as a Peer Mentor through the LGBT Resource Center. Steven is from Waimea, Hawaii.

Joe Hannon is a junior pursuing a double major in Music and German, with a minor in Russian. He currently serves as the Vice President of Finance for Men CARE. This is Joe's second year as the Resident Advisor of the Music Floor in the Parkside Arts & Humanities Residential College. He is originally from Bethesda, Maryland.

Michael Khan is earning a B.A. in English and an M.A. in teaching. He is a principle writer for the El Rodeo, University of Southern California's official yearbook; is a sports writer for The Daily Trojan; serves as a Resident Advisor at Pardee Tower; and received a leadership scholarship from USC and The Thagard Endowed Scholarship for students in the humanities.

Chris Berry is a junior working towards a double major in Philosophy and Mathematics. In addition to serving as the Vice President for Men CARE, he is a Resident Advisor in Pardee Tower. He is also an avid follower of USC A Capella. Chris hails from Ladera Heights, California.

Adam Rottenstein is in his fifth year at USC, pursuing a double major in Cinema-Television Production and Business Administration. In addition to his work with Men CARE, Adam has vigorously pursued his future career in the film industry through various internships in Hollywood. Adam is also involved in the planning and execution of Take Back the Night, a week-long rally that occurs every April at USC to help shed light on the issue of sexual assault. Adam is from Coral Springs, Florida.

Sean Nelson is a senior working towards a double major in Art History and English. Besides working with Men CARE, Sean serves as a research assistant in the Classics Department of the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. He is also a senior editor of Palaver, the USC student-published literary magazine. Sean is a native of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Dan Seal is a junior working towards a degree in Engineering. He is an active member of the University Residential Student Community (URSC) and has served on the Parkside Residential College Building Government. Dan also works as a Supplemental Instruction Leader through the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. He is from Northridge, California.

Phil Zager is in his junior year with a double major in Economics and International Relations. In addition to working with Men CARE, Phil is an active brother of Beta Theta Pi, and a caterer with Trojan Hospitality. He also works as a talk-show host on TrojanVision, USC’s own college television network. Phil will be spending this year in Egypt through the Office of Overseas Studies. He is originally from Saratoga, California.
