Why Support MAAA?
Every year over 34,000 students apply to USC, approximately 4,000 of these succeed in the extremely competitive admissions process.  Of those accepted, approximately 13% are comprised of Latino freshmen and transfer students.  Although Latinos continue to be a small segment of the university – the USC Mexican American Alumni Association is a vital member of the USC Trojan Family.

Our student stories are about determination, perseverance, sacrifice, and the American dream.  American Latinos at USC – are a reflection of a better tomorrow.  The work we do is the work of transforming lives – and through each successful graduate – we collectively empower and strengthen our Latino community.

Through financial, professional, and emotional support – the MAAA is home away from home for many Latino students attending USC.  The backbone of the MAAA is our USC alumni.   Give of your time, talents, and/or your money. Every little bit makes a difference.

Be inspired – be moved to give back to those who need it the most.  Learn about Lucy Flores – a high school drop out- USC Trojan convert.  Lucy is a successful MAAA scholarship recipient headed to the University of Nevada Law School this Fall.  Click here
