MAAA encourages you to take full advantage of the following programs and services:

Scholarship:
The MAAA Scholarship program supports outstanding Latino students, maximizes philanthropic dollars with 2:1 matching and more importantly acknowledging academic achievement, while reducing student loans

Scholarship deadline May of each academic year
Financial Aid: With over 86% of USC Latino students on financial aid, the MAAA strives to offer the most comprehensive and accommodating packages.
Since financial literacy is one of our main goals to spread to our scholars, MAAA offers different workshops which lay out the details and deadlines of applying for financial aid and other means of financing your education, such as grants

Academic Support: While the transition from a high school and/or community college environment has varying differences to USC, the MAAA ensures a smoother transition in the academic arena by offering such support:
Each academic year, the MAAA hosts six leadership building & professional development workshops including guest speakers from a variety of corporate and educational sectors

Study sessions and breaks are held during final examinations in conjunction with other student outreach and scholarship offices such as El Centro Chicano and Norman Topping
Internships & Job Opportunities: One of the most popular and sought out goals of any MAAA student, is that of finding the perfect internship and job.
MAAA works with the USC Career Center and other donor based organizations to help students find paid internships and employment after graduation

We work at building and maintaining relationships with corporations in order to have different networking and leadership workshops that provide a wealth of information such as making that valuable first impression when interviewing for a job or internship
