Our Endowment Committee actively seeks development opportunities for the MAAA Endowment and sets the overall strategy for our ongoing campaign. Members help facilitate high level introductions to possible donors. The Committee meets quarterly.

Members help facilitate high level introductions to possible donors. There are a total of 15 committee members. Committee members must attend one of two high profile receptions per year with financial estate planning seminars.
Scholarship
Our Scholarship Committee reads and reviews MAAA scholarship applications, makes final decisions on awards amounts, and submits final recommendations to the Executive Director. The Scholarship Committee meets from July through August. Meetings take place every Thursday. Committee members must be USC alums two years out of college. Golf Committee
Our Golf Committee actively raises funds for our Annual Golf Classic through sales of sponsorship packages, foursomes and green/tee bag sponsorships. Members also participate in event coordination and planning. The Committee meets from December through June and take place once per month from December through April. The event is held in June of each year at Pacific Palms Resort.
Event Committee
Actively raises funds for annual scholarship dinner through the sales of sponsorship packages. Each member must sell/buy one table and secure one auction item.
Committee meets from September through March. Meetings take place once per month from September through January; and meet twice monthly in February.
MAAA Annual Dinner Gala scheduled March 30th
Actively raises funds for all MAAA events through the sales of sponsorship packages. Develop overall yearly strategy for fundraising projects/events.
Committee meets quarterly. Members must attend some of the MAAA fundraising events throughout the year.

Our Event Committee is primary dedicated towards the success of our Annual Scholarship Fundraising Dinner, usually held in February of each year. The Committee actively raises funds for our annual scholarship dinner through the sales of sponsorship packages and auction items. The Committee meets from September through March. Meetings take place once per month from September through January and meet twice in February.
Communications
Our Communications Committee supports all public relations efforts, including alumni/student/volunteer relations, public relations and supporting technology. The Committee meets quarterly, with sub-committees meeting more frequently, depending on project deadlines. Projects include our website, newsletters, and press releases.
