Q: Is the USC MAAA scholarship available for any university, or just USC?A: The USC MAAA scholarship is only available to students who have been accepted to USC.
Q: How can I join the USC MAAA and does it cost anything?
A: To become a member of the MAAA, please click on the following link and enter your information. We will keep you informed of MAAA events and activities. There is no cost to become a member of the USC MAAA.
Q. How can I help the MAAA?
A: We welcome financial assistance, as well as volunteers who can donate their time to various events and activities. For financial assistance, please click on the following link. For volunteer activities, please e-mail dsotelo@usc.edu with your general interests and experience.
Q. What does my financial assistance go towards?
A. 100% of all financial giving is applied directly to USC MAAA student scholarships or our endowment, of which interest is applied to scholarships.
Q: Do you have to be Mexican or Latino to apply?
A: No, the MAAA accepts applications from all USC students who demonstrate a commitment to the Latino community.
Q: Do I have to re-apply every year?
A: Yes, students must turn in a complete MAAA scholarship application by the deadline every year. See application for content difference for applicants re-applying.
