President Obama's message to the National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change

President Barack Obama addressed a record-setting crowd at the 25th Creating Change conference in a recorded message. The President praised the work of the Task Force and the thousands of activists who make a real difference in the lives of LGBT individuals and their families.

After recalling some of the Task Force’s earliest accomplishments, President Obama stated: “And today, you’re helping lead the way to a future where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, no matter who they love or where they come from.”

He concluded by stating: “I’m more confident than ever that we’ll reach a better future as long as Americans like you keep reaching for justice and all of us keep marching together.”
