USC is fortunate to have an active graduate and professional student population. The Graduate Student Government (GSG) is the student government for graduate/professional students. In 2002, GSG created a standing LGBT Concerns Committee to advocate and program for LGBT students and supportive Allies.
This committee meets regularly with representatives from the different LGBT graduate and professional campus organizations. They discuss co-sponsorships for events and coordinate advocacy efforts. Previous events included: SpeedDating, monthly social mixers in West Hollywood, free HIV testing, educational discussions and more.
Meeting are bi-weekly (starts 9/13/12) at 9:30 AM in TCC 224 Conference Room. Dates include: September 13, September 27, October 11, October 25, November 8, and November 29
If you were involved in undergrad and you want to continue their involvement, then get involved with this committee. For more information about this committee, please e-mail The LGBTA Committee Chair at email@example.com.
USC has vibrant graduate/professional LGBT student community with several discipline specific organizations. Please join them on facebook.
