Resident Advisors (RAs) are the most valuable student resources on our campus, not to mention they are important LGBT Allies in the Trojan Family. RAs have the opportunity to interact with many diverse students and they often facilitate the linkage between students and campus services.
In the spirit of facilitating this linkage and educating our residents about LGBT issues, the LGBT Resource Center has highlighted a few supportive resources for RAs for their LGBT residents that include LGBT ice breakers, group activities and suggestions to make their residential communities more supportive.
LGBT Speaker's Bureau
In addition, the center has an LGBT Speaker’s Bureau that consists of LGBT and Ally students that are willing and able to attend an RA program to facilitate an LGBT activity or simply speak about their personal experiences being a member of the LGBT community.
