Asian Pacific Islander (API) QueerStory: Our Narratives, Student Voices

The LGBT Resource Center and the Asian Pacific American Student Services are proud to present the Asian Pacific Islander (API) QueerStory featuring an interactive student panel discussion. Panelists will share their personal experiences and cultural narratives that address the intersectionality of their sexuality and diverse ethnic identities.  Moderated by a researcher of API LGBT intersectionality, the panel will also explore how their cultural norms and family expectations have influenced their coming out process.  Following the panel discussion, participants will have an opportunity to share their own experiences with API LGBT student leaders.  Information about local API LGBT organization resources will also be presented at the event.
