RainbowBovardSince 1995, the LGBT Resource Center expanded and reinvented many of its traditional programs and services and has become a leader in higher education for LGBT student services.  If you are an alumnus, you may notice that the culture towards the LGBT community has drastically changed due to the work of the center to educate and change the culture on campus.

The center has been awarded national titles such as “Top 20 Best of the Best LGBT Friendly Colleges and Universities” and a “diversity leader” for gender equality.  In addition, the center has been honored by the USC community with outstanding programs recognitions as well as by the City of Los Angeles.  For a complete list, click here.

Thanks to the partnership and collaboration with the student organizations like the Queer & Ally Student Assembly (former names have included: GLBT Student Assembly, GLB Student Assembly, and GLASS), the center has increased participation at events, facilitated engaging political and cultural discussions and has morphed into a entity on campus that provides advocacy to LGBT students, embraces the diverse cultures within the community and enhances the education of our supportive allies.

To sustain our ever-growing programs and services and to continue to create change on campus, the center can benefit from financial contributions.  Your donation can go towards an endowment to support existent programs, services and events or it can be used to sustain a new project.
