On a university campus, a central gathering spot is an essential component of academic life. As a hub of activity, the campus center provides a meeting place where graduate and undergraduate students, faculty of all disciplines, staff, and alumni may continue conversations, explore ideas, make new friends, relax with a cup of coffee, hear a lecture from a prominent scholar, or take in the latest student art exhibit. By providing space for learning beyond the classroom, the campus center enhances the academic life of the campus and fosters lifelong connections to the university.
At USC, such a place exists in spirit only. That, however, will change with the new Ronald Tutor Campus Center complex, a place that will be the physical and emotional focus of every student's university experience. Located in the heart of the campus, the Ronald Tutor Campus Center will serve current and prospective students, faculty and staff, family members, campus visitors, and nearly 200,000 USC alumni. Scheduled to open in fall 2010, the campus center will transform student life and strengthen the bonds of the Trojan Family. We encourage you to make a gift that will continue the Trojan tradition by placing your name on the university's landmark construction project.
