EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY IN THE COMMUNITY
Description: Hello,
I am a USC graduate from 2005. After graduation I knew I wanted to work in the community, but I didn't know where. A friend of mine (USC/LSA Alum -03) recommended I join Public Allies, Los Angeles. Public Allies is a national Americorps fellowship program where people can work at a non-profit and get paid for doing good work in the community. This is a great opportunity for students and graduating seniors to get exposure to non-profit and community based-organization, work for social justice, and get paid good money for doing it. As a graduate of Public Allies, fellows also receive a $4500 educational award that can go towards graduate/undergraduate expenses. Please pass the information below to current and graduating students.
Thank you,
-Viji Thulsiraj
SC alum -05
LSA Rep 04-05
MEChA de USC 03-05
