NATIONAL SOCIETY OF BLACK ENGINEERS (NSBE)
Founded in 1978, the USC chapter of NSBE aims to promote an expansive, ethnically diverse network of students pursuing STEM degrees. Our national mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. NSBE offers its members leadership training, professional development activities, career placement services, and so much more. Our chapter aims to foster a sense of family with our members inside and outside of school. To do so, we offer a variety of events outside of academic and professional development such as game nights and volunteering events. This past year at NSBE's National Convention the USC chapter was awarded Large Chapter of the Year!!
