NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK ACCOUNTANTS (NABA)
NABA was given rebirth on the campus during the Fall of 2003. It is an on campus branch of the Nationally acclaimed organization that has been running since 1969. The purpose of this organization is to allow students to gain professional and personal development with business world. Contrary to the name it is not limited to just African Americans or just Accounting majors. Other works of NABA are scholarships, student conferences, technical workshops, community service events, fundraisers, as well as a mentor program with guided professionals from various fields. Some events include: Growth & Development Workshop, Business Etiquette Seminar, Fall and Spring Membership Receptions, and End of the Year BBQ.
