100 BLACK MEN (100BM)
Founded in 1993 by MBA student Gregory Wright, 100 Black Men of USC is a support group for African-American men at the University of Southern California. Membership in 100 Black Men is open to all USC students, regardless of race or gender. The aim of 100 Black Men is to build strong, focused, positive role models that are held in high esteem on USC's campus and the surrounding community. Recently incorporated into 100 Black Men of Los Angeles, the organization thrives on community service, leadership, scholarship and promoting a positive image of black men. Annual events include Slow Jams, Real Men Cook, Movie Screenings, and Game Nights. Weekly meetings alternate between discussions about social and cultural topics called “Black Pills” and Study Lounges.
