This annual BBQ is a collaboration between CBCSA and the Black Student Assembly that provides an opportunity for USC students, faculty, staff and alumni to enjoy food, music and games on Labor Day. This event is free to attend, food will be provided until it runs out!

RealTalk with ArtWalk Artists
CBCSA's annual ArtWalk is a way to recognize artists of all kinds--photographers, painters, etc. ArtWalk gives these the opportunity and the space to showcase their projects for an entire semester. This RealTalk Tuesday, we talk with some of the artists who will be featured in this Fall's ArtWalk. So, if you'd like to about this year's ArtWalk or would like to understand what inspired these artists, come through to this RealTalk Tuesday!
Please join the cultural centers on Thursday, September 21st from 2:30pm-4:30pm in STU 402 for our Project Remix: Faculty and Student Meet and Greet. This is an opportunity for faculty and students affiliated with the cultural centers to meet one another and share information. If you have a new book, program or course you would like to publicize feel free to bring a copy of the book and other information, we will have a display table available for resource sharing.
Project Remix is an interactive program that explores the intersectionality of identities of students from marginalized communities. In order to create a culture of inclusion, Project ReMix educates, engages, and empowers participants to understand how the complexity of their identities are linked to issues of social justice. This program is facilitated by Asian Pacific American Student Services, Center for Black Cultural and Student Affairs, El Centro Chicano and the LGBT Resource Center.

As an addition to the ArtWalk, The Living Room Series serves as a live performance to the art that will be in the CBCSA. From spoken word artists to musicians, there will be acts interacting with the art, helping to bring CBCSA to life during the time of the ArtWalk.
