AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURAL CELEBRATION 2012
Bridging our past with our present, the African American Cultural Celebration (AACC) serves as a traditional rite of passage that recognizes and affirms students of African descent who have completed a rigorous journey through academia at the University of Southern California. This largely attended and highly anticipated event unites students, families, and friends through culture and achievement. An outstanding speaker is chosen each year who insights words of wisdom, encouragement and adoration to the audience allowing all participants to evaluate their life experiences while empowering them to reach all future endeavors.
This year’s ceremony will be held on May 10, 2012, the Thursday evening before the University’s Commencement, honoring ALL undergraduate, graduate and professional school students.
This event is FREE for any USC student that is graduating anytime in 2012!!!
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
There is still time to REGISTER to participate in the African American Cultural Celebration 2012 on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 8:00 pm in Bovard. Go to www.usc.edu/cbcsa to register.
**Keep in mind that there is NO COST to PARTICIPATE in the celebration**. Registration means that you will ONLY participate in the African American Cultural Celebration 2012.ALL participants are required to register for the celebration. The deadline to register is Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 12 noon. We want to ensure we have a seat for you.
