These bronze arches were made from the original maquettes that served as the studies for the larger arches installed in the main entrance of Sample Hall, as well as the Trousdale entrance of the Campus Center. Several months after the larger stone arches were installed, the maquettes went through the laborious lost-wax casting process to create these bronze pieces at Decker Studios Inc. in North Hollywood.
