Lauren Salas-Mationg is a senior studying Health Promotion & Disease Prevention with a minor in Gerontology. She works with APASS as a Project Coordinator for the Promoting Unity, Liberty, and Education (PULE) initiative, which promotes Pacific Islander awareness and education. In Lauren's time at USC, she has been involved with diverse organizations. She held numerous positions within Alpha Delta Pi sorority, founded the Keck Undergraduate Student Ambassador program, and is this year's Catholic Center President. Additionally, she is a member of USC's 2013-2014 Order of the Torch, one of the highest accolades a senior can receive.
Lauren wants freshman to know that USC is a time to be proud of yourself and your goals. Four years seems like a long time, but it goes by fast! Because of this, use every chance as an opportunity to learn more about what drives you. Most importantly, spend time with people who support and inspire you.
After graduation, Lauren plans to gain experience in healthcare consulting before applying to graduate JD/MBA programs. Some of Lauren's interests, include traveling, playing the piano and reading. She only has one Hawaiian island left to visit, which she will explore after graduation with her friends!
