The University of Southern California Club Sports Program consists of 58 student run clubs with 2500+ active members. These clubs may be competitive, instructional, recreational, or any combination of the above.
Club Teams are designed for amateur athletes who enjoy intercollegiate athletic competition while improving their skills. Club teams are organized in tiers based on size, budget, and competive level.
How are Club Sports different from Intramural Sports?
Club sports hold regular year round practices during the week and competitive clubs hold games and matches against students from other universities. In Intramural Sports, USC students compete against other USC students in a less structured format, ranging from one day tournaments to six week long leagues.
The student-run Recreational Club Council (RCC) represents all the club sports through the Recreational Sports department. The leadership meets once a month to discuss policies, scheduling, and club administration. If you would like more information or would like to join a club sport, you can find each club's contact information here.
