The website is updated frequently and reflects the most current program information. Online registrants will receive email confirmation. Is the tailgate picnic or football game included in the registration fee? |

NO, tailgate picnic and/or football game tickets are not included. Please see the football and tailgate section of this website. THE FOOTBALL GAME AND TAILGATE PICNIC WILL SELL OUT; ORDER YOUR TICKETS EARLY! |

Each person who attends Parents Weekend is required to register. |

What does the fee include? |
| |
Your Trojan Parents Weekend registration fee covers Friday’s Breakfast with the deans, President Sample’s Address to parents, Friday’s Lunch in the Park (additional fee for students), all workshops and program sessions, faculty lectures, open houses and tours. There are a small number of programs which require an additional fee, as indicated by the $Additonal Tickets Required sign. |

Do I need to register my student for the weekend? |

No, students are welcome to attend all sessions, unless otherwise indicated. There is an additional fee for students to attend the Friday Lunch in the Park. |

Can I sign up for individual events or one day only? |

No, unfortunately you must register for the entire weekend. |

Do I have to register in advance, or can I sign up for the weekend once I arrive on campus? |

In order to accommadate the thousands of parents we anticipate attending, it is to your advantage to register in advance. Check back to the website for announcements regarding program changes, additions and cancellations.

Do I have to RSVP for each individual event? |
| |
Admission to most sessions is on a first–come, first-served basis. Events that require an advance RSVP are indicated by RSVP Required. ALL EVENTS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. |

What is the deadline for registration? |
| |
Registration fee:
Prior to September 23, 2009;
$60 per adult prior and
$35 per child 16 and under.
Late registration, after September 23, 2009;
$80 per adult and
$50 per child 16 and under.
On-site registration is $100 for adults and $70 per child 16 and under.

How do I pick up my registration packet if I will be arriving late on campus? |
| |
Registration packets are available in the Parents Pavilion tent, located in Herklotz Plaza. The Parents Pavilion will be open from 3:00 pm tp 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 22 and from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on Friday, October 23. Your student may pick up your packet if needed. We do not keep packets after Friday, October 23, 2009. |

How will I know where my sessions are located? |

A program list with session names and loactions will be in your registration packet. You may check the website for locations as well. |

How do I get to USC? |
| |
USC is three miles south of downtown Los Angeles, adjacent to the museums and sports facilities of historic Exposition Park and is easily accessible by major freeways. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank are the closest airports to campus. Driving directions and a campus map are available at web-app.usc.edu/maps/ |

Where To Park? |
| |
Parking on campus tends to fill quickly. On Friday campus parking is offered at a discounted rate of $5 for registered parents. Additional parking is located at the Parking Center on the corner of Grand and Jefferson (see online map at web-app.usc.edu/maps/ and search "parking center" to see exact location) with trams to campus every 15 minutes. THE REGULAR FOOTBALL PARKING RATE OF $25 will apply on Saturday and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. REMEMBER TO ARRIVE EARLY ON GAME DAY. |

What should I wear? |
| |
Southern California fall weather is usually warm during the day and cool at night. Bring a sweater or jacket for the evening and comfortable walking shoes. Attire during the weekend is casual, although you may want to bring something slightly dressier for evening receptions and events. Don’t forget to wear your cardinal and gold for Saturday’s football game! In the event of rain, activities will take place as scheduled. Umbrellas are not permitted in the Coliseum. |

Your Trojan Parents Weekend registration fee includes the breakfast on Friday, Lunch in the Park Friday afternoon and snacks throughout the day Friday in the Parents Pavilion. Campus dining locations and hours are listed at hospitality.usc.edu |

Where do I go when I arrive on campus? |
| |
When you arrive, go directly to the Parents Pavilion tent, located in Herklotz Plaza near the Tommy Trojan statue in the center of campus. You will receive a welcome packet, session information, a name tag and a campus map. If your travel plans allow you to arrive early, the tent is open for check-in on Thursday from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Registration begins on Friday at 7:30 am until 4:00 pm. If you are unable to visit during these hours, your student may pick up your welcome packet. The Parents Pavilion tent is not open on Saturday. |

Can I rent a wheel chair? |
| |
While you are on campus for Trojan Parents Weekend there will be a bit of walking required to get from event to event. If you or your guests require wheel chair accommodation, wheel chairs can be rented from Pico Medical Rents, (323) 936-4104. Wheelchair rental payment, pick up and return are the responsibility of the Trojan Parents Weekend registrant. |
